Operations Shift Team Leader

The successful candidate will be required to perform an Operations Shift Team Leader function within the Operations Department overseeing various plants, reporting to the Operations Executive, and will be required to work in a team and independently.

Minimum Qualifications and minimum experience:

  • Grade 12 with mathematics and Physical Science (Higher qualification would be advantageous)
  • Chemical Operations NQF Level 4
  • Proficient in MS Word/MS Excel and Outlook
  • Valid driver’s licence for manual vehicle
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a senior process controller in a chemical operation environment
  • Previous relieving/acting experience as a Foreman would be advantageous

 Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to plan activities on shift and People Management on shift
  • Ensure the Execution of maintenance, Issue SWP and do electrical isolations.
  • Interpret Lab analysis and make adjustments and Investigate product and process deviations.
  • Make sure team works together for effective housekeeping.
