The Synthetic Latex Company
The Synthetic Latex Company manufactures styrene acrylic, pure acrylic and styrene butadiene latices for use in the paint, construction, carpet, textile, paper, adhesive, automotive and road industries, as well as acrylonitrile modified latex – a synthetic polymer known for its resistance to chemicals, oils and fuels.
In addition, SLC boasts a fully-fledged chemical toll manufacturing service, with the specialised equipment and know-how to manufacture a wide range of chemical products according to client needs; a purpose-built, 16,500m2 integrated warehousing centre; safe and secure liquid bulk storage for non-hazardous and hazardous liquid chemicals; and a chemical packaging service to ensure that chemicals are stored correctly, avoid degradation and can be disposed of safely.

The Shared Services Company (SSC) is a stimulating initiative, through which The Synthetic Latex Company’s team of professionals share their diverse corporate skills with budding entrepreneurs.
Most small enterprises can’t afford to employ skilled personnel to manage each and every individual organizational task within a business, which is where the SSC’s extensive range of supporting services come in. These include accounting, business, payroll, general administration, operations, HR and legal services, as well as a fully-equipped occupational health clinic.

The need for a dedicated cleaning service provider at The Synthetic Latex Company resulted in the introduction of the Simultec Cleaning Operation.
Simultec has evolved into a fully-fledged independent operation that provides cleaning, reconditioning and servicing of various types of reusable packaging, as well as management of the logistical chain for reusable packing and High Pressure cleaning services.
Simultec utilises “cutting edge” equipment, while always considering the environmental impact of our operation.
Hydro Jetting, for instance, is a rapidly growing technology and Simultec boasts a wide range of mobile water jetting pump units and accessories to maximise any water jetting application.
Valor CHemicals
Chemical Trading
Valor Chemicals distributes prime chemical products to the local industry.
Essentially a chemical trading company, Valor deals with international enterprises such as Everspring and Trinseo.
Everspring manufactures high-performance stabilization additives that improve thermal, light, in-process and colour stability, while their range also incorporates primary and secondary antioxidants, stabilization boosters and UV absorbers.
Trinseo specialises in synthetic rubber, for the manufacturing of high-performance tires and industrial rubber goods.
A business association with Europe-based companies ADDAPT and Xyntra also enables SLC to offer an even more exciting product range and add more value.
