Discover WorkZone: Where History and Innovation Converge

The rise of technology and innovation hubs in South Africa drives the demand for coworking spaces, particularly in areas with a concentration of startups and tech companies. Located on the historic grounds of The Synthetic Latex Company, our coworking space boasts some unique features that won’t easily be found anywhere in the Free-State.

The Synthetic Latex Company: A Journey Through Time

Founded in 1967, The Synthetic Latex Company (SLC) has been a pioneer in latex manufacturing technology. In 2017, SLC marked its 50th anniversary, a milestone celebrated with pride. Acquired from Karbochem Holdings, it evolved into a fully-fledged industrial park with a range of diverse operations, forming the base of the SLC group, and paving the way for continued innovation.

The Unique Perspective of WorkZone

WorkZone forms part of the SLC Group of companies. Although the company is based on the historical site of The Synthetic Latex Company, the coworking space operates independently. Visitors to our coworking space not only gain access to a vibrant work environment but also the opportunity to enjoy a historical view within an industrial setting.

Coworking spaces cater to this diverse group by offering shared resources, networking opportunities, and a supportive community.
